Mercian Labels Ltd has appointed a new Operations Director in line with its robust growth strategy.
The new role is designed to enhance the current management team and increase momentum in the company’s drive towards World Class manufacturing.
The new appointee, Jean Michel Sintome, brings a wealth of operational leadership expertise, as well as experience in building high performance teams, delivering business transformation and introducing dynamic culture change programmes.
Jean Michel has worked in a variety of relevant capacities as Operations Director, Manufacturing Director and Quality Director in World Class, blue-chip corporations such as Pernod Ricard and IDEMIA, as well as international companies in the Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Engineering, Defence and Technology sectors.

Mercian Labels is celebrating 50 years of trading, being one of the oldest and most innovative self-adhesive label manufacturers in the UK. It operates from a state-of-the-art factory in Burntwood, Staffordshire and employs approximately 50 people. It serves some 9,000 business customers worldwide, and in addition to its core portfolio of self-adhesive labels, it manufactures the LabelLock brand of security labels and the Gammatex brand of Gamma Irradiation indicators, both of which enjoy substantial global sales.
