Jennifer Matt Speaking at Dscoop 9: March 6-8, 2014

Dscoop 9 approaches, one of my favorite print events of the year, why? because there is an energy at Dscoop that is about thriving rather than feeling victimized by all the changes in our industry. If you haven’t been its hard to describe the energy and positive focus, I always learn something new – the great combination of speakers and the most active audience participation anywhere.

This year I’ll be conducting two in-depth sessions and hosting another meeting of the Dscoop Nerd Herd!

Web-to-Print Technology (Your Online Platform)
Web technology has to enable you to create an online presence that is equal to or better than your offline presence (the story you tell, the customer service you deliver, etc.). The online channel will become the primary channel for your business. This session will teach you how to make better web technology decisions by anchoring them to the business objectives you desire in sales, marketing, and operations. Saturday, March 8, 9am-10:30am, Osceola Ballroom A.

Print MIS Technology (Your System of Record)
Print MIS enables you to aggregate the data required to effectively run your print business. In order to play the role of “system of record” your Print MIS has to be able to both receive and push data to other systems. This session will teach you how to make better decisions about Print MIS technology and the integration required for it to effectively play its role of “system of record”. Friday, March 7, 2:30pm – 4:00pm, Naples Room.

Dscoop Nerd Herd
I will be moderating the second meeting of the Dscoop Nerd Herd. A peer group for software professionals working in the Dscoop community. Informally started at Dscoop8, formally launched at Dscoop9. One of the key requests of the initial attendees of the Nerd Herd was that this group was especially for software but software projects such as: Print MIS, web-to-print, integrated workflows, and customer integrations. Saturday, March 8, 11am – Noon (Tallahassee Room).

Hope to see you there!
